The programme is flexible, influences outcomes and develops cultural awareness. The broad subject areas are illustrated here.

Remedial Classes

Teaching methodology employed - animated teaching pedagogy along with effective personal tutorials for low scorers. The remedial classes are the school’s initiative to help bring the comparative slow learners and low scorers at par with the rest of the class. Under this set up, a list is formulated at the start of each academic year; of students whose performance has been consistently low. . A detailed recapitulation of the subject matter taught in the class is taken up; with an increased emphasis on addressing the doubts of the students. The special learning needs of each student are catered to under such a set up. The emphasis is more on the growth and progress of the children with special learning

Primary School

As your ward begins Primary School, each day becomes an adventure and a time of discovery. Our academic programme focuses on foundation-building in the curricular areas of Math, Science and English. Learners are introduced to a multi-sensory approach to learning language through listening, seeing and doing. Learners learn for deeper understanding by engaging in a thematic curriculum with a core focus on Science, Environmental Studies and Social Studies. Reading and Writing are done across the curriculum in different genres and using different approaches.

Learning by doing is the philosophy we follow. Learners are exposed to and given a lot of opportunities to explore different materials and manipulatives which build deeper understanding of concepts.

Field visits is another way in which we give them firsthand experience and a lifelong learning and they realize that learning can happen anywhere and is not limited to textbooks.

We believe that co-curricular activities are equally important in developing the all-round personality of the child. The co-curricular programme in our school offers a platform to help hone the talents of young minds and gives them an opportunity to develop their specialized skills.

Our programme focuses on creating independent learners who take responsibility for their own learning. Developing research skills in learners and allowing them to work in groups help them to tackle more complex problems than they could on their own and develop new approaches to resolving a problem. They plan for class assemblies on their own, do a lot of group work that builds skills like leadership, collaboration and team work.

Getting them to experiment and investigate on their own helps them to become more independent and confident, develop their planning and observation skills, realize their mistakes and rectify them by repeating the experiment.

Through the Life Skills programme we help to instill values of perseverance, self-discipline, compassion, and get them to express their inner thoughts on various situations and events that occur in their lives.
